our rated g story is that we were both working at a hospital and a new guy started, he swept her off her heels and then he enlisted into the army! i was extremely excited for her but very sad all at the same time. they got married, then pregnant, and then he left for Afghanistan for his first tour. she stayed in our hometown for the duration of her pregnancy. jada went into labor with Mr mason lee carter 10 weeks early (typical impatient man) and i got to play "baby daddy" because Tyler the hubby, was still in Afghanistan that day i thought i was going to loose my best friend, it was the scardest ive ever been. mason was delivered by c section and after a long recovery of both mom and baby, Tyler got to come home for leave.
after everything was settled and we received news that Tyler was going to be coming home for good, we had to do the unbearable pack up for her to move with her new little family to there first army base in fort drum new York. i was heartbroken. she was my best friend in the world and had never been out of north Carolina or south Carolina and she was going on a crazy adventure for the first time without me. i couldn't even bear to say good bye to her, i became distant and wouldn't even see her before she left for the airport. once i gripped reality, i woke up one day, called her and told her i was coming to see her! i made my first visit to fort drum in september of 2012! little did i know, my life would forever be changed after that...
